The Italian jewelry company Bulgari is making strong strides into the luxury hotel market. Beginning with the end of the year opening of the Bulgari Dubai, Bulgari Hotels and Resorts is pushing hard to break out of its historically European market. The Bulgari Beijing, which opened earlier this year is their first property in China.  The hotel is an urban resort, designed specifically to allow guests to escape from the hustle and bustle of one of the worlds busiest cities.  With private parks, walking paths and art installations, the Bulgari Beijing is an oasis of luxury, suited for the sophisticated traveler or discerning businessman.  Situated in the embassy district, the hotel rises above its surroundings offering dramatic views of Beijing.  Surrounded and adjacent to the Genesis Art Foundation, guests have full access to the parkland and sculpted gardens around the hotel.

The hotel offers 119 rooms and suites, which allows for spacious accommodations and intimate and exceptional service.  Rooms start at over 600 square feet, with floor to ceiling windows looking out over the Capital and the gardens below.  The iconic Bulgari Spa, which encompasses over 16,000 square feet of space has everything from pools to private soaking tubs.  Relax with a personalized treatment or enjoy one of many exercise class offerings from yoga to Pilates.  Keeping to its Italian heritage, Il Ristorante by Niko Romito showcases "made in Italy" cuisine and furnishings.  Take meals in the restaurant or on the newly oppened La Terrazzo, a patio seating area with direct access to the gardens.  Open all day for meals, afternoon tea or evening cocktails, one can barely notice the busy city in the backdrop.  Il Bar, a beautifully appointed brass and copper bar, offers distinguished cocktails and fine wine and champagnes for guests and patrons alike.  Conceived as a gathering place for the sophisticated person, Bulgari Beijing is set to become just that.
